Limits and billing

On this page

Borg describes one subscription for frontier models and team controls for permissions, model access, and budgets; the sources do not define exact billing or limit behavior.

Subscription

The homepage says every frontier model is included in one Borg subscription. It also describes one bill. The sources reviewed for this page do not specify API usage charges, token accounting, overage fees, renewal terms, or which subscription plans include particular gateway features. Do not treat model makers' API prices as Borg billing rates.

Team budgets and permissions

Borg for Business lists permissions, model access, and budgets. The gateway description says a team can control who can use which models, how much they can use, and whose budget applies. This describes governance controls, not a published set of default amounts or billing rules.

The copy does not say what the gateway does after a budget is reached. It does not confirm whether requests stop, require approval, or continue with an alert. No specific outcome is promised here.

Rate limits

Rate limits are account specific and shown in Settings. The available public copy does not give a universal request-per-minute or token-per-minute value. Limits can vary by account, so a general number would not describe every account.

Approval gates

The business materials describe a flow in which Borg proposes a mission with evidence and a person approves it before it proceeds. The sources do not define approval gates as a billing rule, nor do they specify that reaching a budget automatically triggers an approval. Keep approval decisions and budget limits distinct unless a published policy says otherwise.

What is not specified

The reviewed copy does not set out how usage is measured, how budgets reset, how rate-limit errors appear, or whether unused budget carries forward. It also does not define a process for changing account limits. This page avoids inventing those details.
